Even though the absence is pre-arranged, I understand that my child will not be present in the classroom and therefore, the absence will still count toward total number of days missed, and may impact exam exemptions*

As a reminder, students are generally put on an attendance contract after 10 absences in a semester, and secondary students will not receive credit for any classes where absences exceed 15 in a semester.*
